I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Vanderbilt University and the co-director of the Vanderbilt University Sociology Lab. My research examines social inequality through a social psychological lens. Additionally, I study the way research is conducted and develop tools for advancing research quality.

I received a Ph.D. in sociology and M.S. in applied statistics from Indiana University. I also received a M.A. in sociology and  B.A. in sociology and philosophy from Texas A&M University.
